Story Creator with Videos Project

  • Uncategorized

We are seeking a video editor that is able to “tell a story.”

You will take each video we record and share with you, add free legal stock photos (Pixabay or similar), legal free music, titles, make a YouTube thumbnail etc.

There will be an average of 1 to 5 videos each week.  Each one will be between 2 minutes and 7 minutes.  I assume that it should not take you more than 30 minutes per video to add an intro, text overlays, outro and some occasional affiliate link mentions.  Also, you will need to listen to the whole video to see if any problems need to be fixed.  I can edit a video in less than 30 minutes, and I am a self-taught armature.

Your turnaround time needs to be less than 48 hours in most cases.

We will give you a sample to edit, and we will then be able to decide which applicant we will choose.  When you write back to suggest interest in this position, please tell me what you will charge to do each video.  I assume that it should be less than 50% of your hourly rate for 1 hour of work?

See one of our YouTube channels to see what the ‘typical” video should look like when done.  https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zUIqTnthOYo&list=PLEq1WCKI3Ehhr3CEhpAe52iS2w7jV4zNJ  Again, I am an amateur, I expect you to do a better job in less time, right?  🙂

Are you interested?  Please send an email to shepard@nomadrifleman.com with the subject line being: VIDEO EDITING

LET ME KNOW IF YOU WOULD LIKE TO DO A SAMPLE.  If so, I will send you a raw video of myself, you can edit it with an intro & outro, include some extra text & pics, and I will see if  I like it.  If I don’t think it will work, but the video is good enough to put on YouTube, I will pay you $2.50.  If I love working with you,I will hire you for more videos!  🙂
